TV star and Branson icon passed away quietly in his Branson home after a
year-long battle with bladder cancer. , Despite his illness, Andy
meticulously planned his 2012 shows and laid the groundwork for future
productions, including his ,trans-generational institution: The Andy

Wellford, 58, Dec 14 , The Emmy award-winning comedian
who headlined the Branson stage from the 90s thru recent years died at his
Florida home after a long battle with dementia. , Wellford
delighted his Branson audiences with hilarious routines that included such sight
gags as riding a unicycle while juggling flaming clubs. Says Phillip's wife
Susan, ",He's free of his body and his illness and he's in a better place now.", ,
A memorial service will be held in Branson's Pierce Arrow Theatre Feb. 8
